Because the new organ is nearly double the size of the old one, the organ chamber has had to be extended, and so that the overhang is not at a height to present a problem to the choir, it has also had to be raised. This photo shows Tom (up the ladder) and Barry who, along with Nick and a few others did the lion’s share of the demolition and building work.
