The image of St Thérèse of Lisieux.

St Thérèse is the patron of missions, and Pope Francis has asked that all Christians should see themselves as “missionary disciples” and us as a “missionary parish”. The life of every Christian and parish must be underpinned by prayer, and in this the prayers of St Thérèse support us.

We ask her prayers for us that we may truly be a thriving Catholic community, confidently and humbly proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.

St Gregory’s Parish has been inspired by “Divine Renovation”, a system of missionary work originating in the parish of St Benedict in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We run ‘Alpha’ courses, and invite people to join ongoing study or prayer groups, such as ‘Small Community’ groups or ‘Bible Timeline’ courses deepening knowledge of the Christian Faith through Bible Study.
